Terminology

Backpack

Under the default UI, the backpack is a box divided into 2 rows and 3 columns visible in the lower-right corner of the screen. All items you carry are placed here, and may be used by pressing its corresponding number on the keypad on the right of your keyboard. You can also hold your ALT key and press the corresponding number to use an item.

Consumable Items

Any item that vanishes after being used once is considered a consumable item. Any type of potion, as well as the health and mana shrines, are considered consumable, as using them removes them from your backpack.

Enduring Items

Any item that is not lost after dying is called an enduring item. Some of them are used automatically upon certain conditions, whereas others are constantly active. Some enduring items are also consumable, as they will vanish after one use.

Items

Health Replenishment

These items provide various forms of health recovery, allowing players to heal wounds and participate in battles for longer before being killed or forced to retreat.

Replenish Potion - Cost: 75 gold

Consumable Item
Restores 125 health over 15 seconds but is canceled if you take damage.


Minor Health Potion - Cost: 90 gold

Restores 125 health immediately, but has a 5 second cooldown when you are struck.

Major Health Potion - Cost: 100 gold

Restores 150 health immediately, but has a 5 second cooldown when you are struck.


Health Shrine - Cost: 200 gold

Consumable Item
Placing this shrine down will restore 5 hitpoints per second for 30 seconds for nearby allied units.

Hint: "This item has no cooldown after being hit. So it is great for using within a fight. Best used when fighting in a group because teammates profit from it as well."


Mana Replenishment

These items provide various forms of mana replenishment to allow users to use more abilities and spells.

  • Mana replenishment items are generally very inexpensive for their benefit, and thus it can be practical to go into battle with an inventory full of such items in order to make the most use out of a class's spells and abilities.

Clarity Potion - Cost: 25 gold

Restores 100 mana points over 10 seconds.


Minor Mana Potion - Cost: 35 gold

Restores 125 mana immediately, but has a 5 second cooldown whenever you are struck.


Major Mana Potion - Cost: 75 gold

Mana Shrine - Cost: 100 gold

Placing this shrine down will restore 10 mana points per second for 20 seconds to nearby allied units. Hint: This item has no cooldown after being hit. So it is great for using within a fight. Best used when fighting in a group because teammates profit from it as well.

Stamina Replenishment

Minor Stamina Potion - Cost: 35 gold

Misc Items

Human

Speed Boost - Cost: 100 gold

Prerequisite: Armory
These boots allow their bearer to gain 35% faster movement speed for 15 seconds. If damage is taken the speed boost is removed.

Ammo Satchel - Cost: 200 gold

Enduring Item.
Allows the unit to carry 35% more ammunition for ranged weaponry.


Ammo Pack - Cost: 500 gold

Enduring Item.
Prerequisite: Armory
Allows the unit to carry 70% more ammunition for ranged weaponry.


Chainmail - Cost: 250 gold

Enduring Item.
Using woven steel, this armor provides an additional 3 armor rating, making them lightly less susceptible to melee damage, and moderately less susceptible to ranged damage.


Platemail - Cost: 450 gold

Enduring Item.
Prerequisite: Armory
Using heavy, solid metal, this armor provides 6 armor rating but 10% decreased movement speed, making them receive less damage from melee weapons and significantly less damage from ranged weapons.

Beast

Lynx Feet - Cost: 100 gold

Prerequisite: Nexus
These boots allow their bearer to gain 35% faster movement speed for 15 seconds. If damage is taken the speed boost is removed.

Mana Stone - Cost: 200 gold

Ranged weaponry costs 25% less mana to use.


Mana Crystal - Cost: 500 gold

Prerequisite: Nexus
Ranged weaponry costs 40% less mana to use.


Tough Skin - Cost: 250 gold

Enduring Item.
This item slightly increases a player's armor and adds 3 additional armor, making them lightly less susceptible to melee damage, and moderately less susceptible to ranged damage.


Stone Hide - Cost: 450 gold

Enduring Item.
Prerequisite: Nexus
This item significantly increases a player's armor, providing 6 additional armor points, making them receive less damage from melee weapons and significantly less damage from ranged weapons. This item sightly reduces a player's movement speed by 10%.


Special Items

Special items that were introduced in FCP2.

Soul of Maliken - Cost: 650 gold

NOTE: This item is not available anymore because the Maliken has been removed.

Prerequisite: Hellshrine
Use to transform into Maliken. Requires the Brains, Lungs and Heart of Maliken plus 10 souls.

Lungs of Maliken - Cost: 900 gold

When you receive a soul you will have your stamina fully restored and a brief increase of movement speed.


Heart of Maliken - Cost: 1100 gold

Brain of Maliken - Cost: 750 gold

Prerequisite: Monastery or Sactuary.
Activating this item will cast resurrection on you. Simply activate the item at the death screen to activate it. This item vanishes after being used.


Savior's Valor - Cost: 250 gold

Activating this item will cast recall on your player. You may then press E to return to the loadout screen and spawn at base.This item vanishes after being used.


Gust of Wind - Cost: 250 gold

Enduring Item
You can charge for 30% longer and are immune to ranged damage while charging or dodging.

Power Absorption - Cost: 450 gold

Prerequisite: Armory or Nexus.
This item will absorb one negative effect per minute, removing harmful effect from your character and slightly replenishing your mana. Can only absorb dispellable negative effects.


Trinket of Restoration - Cost: 575 gold

Prerequisite: Monastery or Sactuary.
On activation, this item will heal yourself and nearby ally unit, as well as provide a temporary armor buff.


Shield of Wisdom - Cost: 650 gold

Prerequisite: Academy or Predator Den.
Upon use, Shield of Wisdom will spend the rest of your remaining mana and create a shield that will absorb incoming damage. The more mana drained by Shield of Wisdom, the tougher the damage shield.
